Nursery admissions in Delhi Schools is one of the most important and tiring processes. There are few very renowned schools in Delhi . Many families want to enroll their kids in these top schools of Delhi. The overall exposure in these top schools is world class and different from normal schools.
The process is made very transparent around 2008 when Ganguly Committee was formed by then Chief Minister. From that time, a very transparent system was introduced based on point system. The most common parameters are Distance of kid home from School, parents alumni of school, siblings studying in same school, girl child, first child and few others. Also, total number of seats are divided into 4 groups. 50% of seats come under this point system , 25% seats are for EWS section , 5% are for staff kids and 20% seats are management seats. These 20% seats are kept on management discretion as a reward for school owners/ founders so that they are free to give seat to their known people.
