The school established when Mr.A.S.Mann led the project of establishing the school under the Anand Education Society. Thus, ‘Century Tagore School’ in Ashok Vihar in year 1974 was born. The remarkable education provided here soon earned considerable reputation and the need of school which could accommodate large number of students, was felt. This was achieved when four acres of land was allotted at Prashant Vihar which helped in establishment of Lancer’s convent school. It is affiliated to CBSE board and is a public institute. The logo of school has a burning torch which clearly indicates to ‘spread the light of knowledge’ , they work hard to enlighten minds of students. The school not only educates the children but work hard to develop a civilized citizen by imparting moral values and arranging different co curricular activities.
