Delhi: Nursery Admissions 2021 dates and other details !
As per the announcement by the Education Ministry of Delhi, the admission process of nursery and other classes across the national capital is set to begin from 15th February’2021.
The nursery admissions in private schools will be held completely online but the admission process in nurseries of government schools will be conducted via both online and offline modes.
Admissions for other classes in government and private schools would commence soon too.
The ministry further stated that they will work out a process for the admissions. The school forms will be available for download and applications will have to be submitted online. The list of successful applications will also be displayed online. Parents will be able to pay the fees online as well.
This announcement was made during the Delhi Chief Minister, Mr Arvind Kejriwal’s meeting with the principals and management committees of various private schools. He said, “The process of admission to nursery schools for the academic session 2021-22 will from Feb’15 .”
The Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister, Manish Sisodia, have held meetings with the ‘Action Committee Unaided Private Accredited Schools’ at the Delhi Secretariat. The Action Committee is a large organisation, comprising nearly 1000 recognised private schools in Delhi.
The Delhi government wishes to start the nursery admissions in private and government schools together, whenever the conditions are suitable. According to the state government, the aim is to not keep much of a time gap in the admission schedules of private and government schools
